  11.     Here is the latest versions of LPTx. This version works best
  12. under all versions of DOS and includes a pop-up window for turning LPTx
  13. on and off from within an application program.
  14.  
  15.     This program attempts to do things which are strictly illegal in
  16. DOS. DOS is not re-entrant and with LPTx I try to make it so. Though I have
  17. tried to make this a solid and safe program, I cannot be responsible for
  18. its use. Use this program at your own risk.

  28.     I appreciate the response that I have received from a couple of
  29. letters in the Data Based Advisor magazine and from Steve Ciarcia's plug in
  30. BYTE. From that, I can see that there is a tremendous need for a printer
  31. redirection program for users of programs written in dBase and do not give
  32. a print to disk option.

  34.     I am eagerly awaiting OS/2 which is supposed to be truly
  35. multi-tasking and will make this type of program a snap.
  36.  
  37.     If anyone figures out how to make a more reliable capture
  38. program which is less dependent on the idiosyncrasies of DOS, please
  39. send me a copy and I will incorporate those ideas into LPTx. Watch the

  49. complete communication package that specializes in VT emulation. You can
  50. get a copy from many of the PC Library companies, from RBBSs (The best
  51. bet is, of course, mine at 619-549-3927), or directly from me. Send a
  52. formatted 360K diskette and a self-addressed postage-paid mailer to me
